This class is for Home Educated children (ages 5-10 approx). Monday classes located at Longfield Hill Community Hall, Nurstead Lane, Longfield. These are fairly new classes which started in September 2024. These are the classes that Creative Learning covers: Geography/History Science Sessions are topic based, and we may spend a few weeks or a whole term on a particular topic to study it in depth. Activities are hands on, so your child will be learning through carrying out experiments and creating things. Examples of topics covered are animal habitats, space, the earth, rocks and volcanoes, the elements, and a culture from another country e.g. Mexico. Activities are planned to build your child's confidence, knowledge and skills. Above all, children are encouraged to have fun and enjoy their learning! All sessions are led by myself, a qualified and experienced teacher. I have experience in teaching various subjects at all key stages. My lessons are always practical so that children learn in a creative way. I have been teaching for over 25 years and I currently teach part time in a SEN school. These sessions are parent accompanied. Tea and coffee, juice and biscuits will be available for all. Younger siblings are welcome free of charge! A separate toy area will be available for them. Just let me know all babies/toddlers that will be attending.
